Soy candles can be said to be environmentally friendly because it is made from soy wax which is derived from soya bean a natural, renewable and biodegradable resource it also does not produce toxins when lit. Q. What does soy wax burning cooler and longer mean? A. Soy wax burning cooler lessens the risk of serious burns from melted wax, this is particularly important for users with children and pets where accidental spillages may happen. Soy wax burns 50% longer than paraffin wax candles which makes them more economical. Q. Soy wax is water soluble which makes cleaning almost effortless. Q. Aren’t all natural wax candles, such as beeswax, the same?  What makes candles made from soy wax different? A. Unlike beeswax, soy wax doesn’t have a powerful fragrance of its own, so it is a better “blank” base for all fragrances and essential oils.   You can also buy soy wax candles in lots of colours and shapes. Q. Soy wax is described as having a “wonderful scent throw”.   What does this mean? A. This means that scented soy wax candles fill the room with a strong, lasting fragrance.   Candles made from soy are also natural and clean burning and have a purer fragrance than say paraffin wax candles, which contain added chemicals and have been known to give people headaches. Q. Paraffin wax scented candles are so much cheaper than soy wax scented candles – why should I pay more for soy? A. In a nutshell, the atmospheric and sensual benefit of scented soy candles is far greater than any other type of candle.   To start with, they are made from a natural base that doesn’t conflict with the fragrance.   By comparison, paraffin wax scented candles are derived from petrol, which blots out the fragrance just an hour after lighting the candle.   Soy wax candles also last 50% longer than paraffin wax candles.   So, if you’re looking for a quality, long lasting candle with a great fragrance, soy candles are the best choice.  Q. I have heard that inhaling the fumes from paraffin wax candles is just as bad for your health as breathing second hand cigarette smoke.   Is this true?  A. Nothing has been proven on the health front, but it is true that the smoke from paraffin wax candles contains 11 toxins, two of which are carcinogenic.   Soy wax candles, by comparison, don’t produce any toxins – so you can be assured you are not breathing toxins as you relax in your candlelit bath.   Q. But surely any candle that contains essential oils will have a positive effect on my health and wellbeing? A.    Not if it contains paraffin wax.   Aside from the toxins, paraffin wax candles produce soot, which pollutes the air you breathe and leaves nasty black smears on walls and furnishings.   It’s true that essential oils have therapeutic effects, but using a paraffin candle as the carrier is a contradiction.   If you are going to pay a premium for aromatherapy candles and wish to enjoy the benefits, choose candles made from 100% natural products.

How to Burn a Vegetable, Soy and Beeswax Candle for the Most Effective Long Lasting Scent

There is a new type of light in the city – the vegetables, soy and candles – and many people do not know how it really breaks out. If the light is not burnt properly, you will find the fragrance does not last for so long, and the light can not be burned much earlier than you want. Most people are aware that when you are burned a paraffin candles, and it melts too fast, it usually means that there is a low-quality candles. The best paraffin wax candles are those that are very hard and they would burn slowly. Vegetables and soy light is very different. The liquid immediately and that's no bad thing. This is the way they are designed to burn. Vegetables and soy candles burn may actually take a slower and cooler than paraffin candles and more. Beeswax is added to improve the mix to help, as long as the candle is burning and helps to keep the smell at the end of the bottle. Burn your Ljuslyktor in a thin narrow glass votive holders. The reason for this is that if the upper half of the candle as the wax does not burn in a position to spread liquefies. If votive holder is too large and there is much room between the candle and votive holders, candle wax will glide through the room and the light stays on fire faster than it needs. It is important that you as a votive holders that are not made of very thick glass or metal using them. The thick glass or metal is too hot, and this will impact on how the vegetables and / or burning soy candles. It can possibly bring to light out permanently. Do not burn a candle longer than 3 or 4 hours at a time, otherwise the power of light can be reduced. I know that this is the hardest rule. As they do not leave unattended. Sometimes an unknown proposal could become one of the two wicks to burn. When this happens, and the uneven burning goes too far, the light is often not re-light. With vegetables, soy and candles, you can still save the light by gently tapping the container in a sealed bag and the jar with a knife until the glass is loose. Remove all glass, refract the light and put it in a pot to boil. The detached easily as you could do with a bright tin waxed. Candle flame height should be between ½ inch and ¾ inch – not more. If your flame is higher than ¾ inch, you need to either trim the wick or blow out the light and start again at a later date. If your candle is too low and you get a complete wax pool, you can see some of the wax pool, so that the flame complete zoom and burn hotter and thus. A little wax left on the inside of the bottle, the candle burns down is really a good idea because it means that the light does not burn too hot. Vegetables, soy candles, and liquefy, which provides that 90% of the wax is actually burned. This is unlike the paraffin candles that are sometimes burned in the very middle of the glass with large amounts of wax into the glass on the left. Note that the wick does not burn down with the candle – they must be circumcised. The wicks are the most important aspect of all light, and they must be maintained and trimmed when necessary because all parts of the light is absorbed and released through the Wick! The best thing is wick candles with cotton wicks. Consider the air currents in the room. You can have a candle 4 meters away from you and do not smell, while others enter the room smell it immediately. You can have it at another location, where it flows into the room smell across the area where you sit. Spend a little time to the right place in each room for your candle to be found. The fragrance will then wait until the next day and travel to other rooms in the house while it burns, if you find the best place. Drafts in a room with ceiling fans, high-traffic areas or to create / floor fans can and will change the performance. Sometimes, good performances and sometimes not. To be done for best results, do not burn candles in areas where there is strong draft. Everyone's nose is different. You will find that you prefer different scents to another person. What most people do not know is that a person can not smell the same scent in the same way either. I have found that the vanilla-scented candles with weak to me. Still others say that the vanilla scent of this world. Sometimes, like certain scents such as lavender tends to be very strong, of course, so that they give more flavor. Those on the different scents will notice that some of them smell headaches and others do not. If you love candles, but you're always a headache from trying them, a more natural light and experiment with different scents. Allergic reactions can also on the eyes or throat, and you will like to experiment again helps you to find scents that does not care about. Vegetables, soybeans, and candles are made from natural ingredients and is therefore less toxic than all other light. Vegetables, soy candles, and have "low soot" or about 90% soot-free. This makes them "green" products that are safer for you, your family and your pets. The smell of vegetables and soy candles are more generally, because this mix tends to hold fragrance well. Try it with a simmer pot. Simmer pots allow the light to be burnt in a light bulb. This type of burner is more secure, because no flame is used. Make sure you choose an electric simmer pot, because if you burn a candle in the burner, and you are the purpose of the safety factor must be overcome. Simmer pots, usually have a big cup of wax, which helps the fragrance to spread more. Simmer the pot can be cleaned by placing the wax in a plastic bag and use a Kleenex to clean the cavity. The vegetables, soy, candles, clean water and soap. When the wax is accidentally spilled, can be easily washed. Have fun burning candles!
