At a party we hosted recently a guest accidentally a red light on tipping. The wax from a puddle about two to three centimeters in diameter on my beige carpet. I always remove the wax, but the stain remains. We are trying to organic cleaning solvents, or at home because of the inability to use my husband to stand strong chemical smell. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Use newspaper and an iron, put thin sheets of newpaper over the wax and iron it gently till the wax soaks into the paper, remove paper and repeat with clean paper until wax is totally removed. Only use the iron hot enough to melt the wax, not burn the carpet lol
This will remove any greasy residue that may contain the staining colour
areosol hairspray will usually remove most stains. soak with hairspray and scrub with a stiff brush, wet with warm soapy water and use a wet vac to suck it up….
Any cleaner that is water based will not help since the stain is oil based. You can try covering the area with baking soda, placing a weighted object over it, then see if it pulls out any of the color, but I don’t think it will get rid the stain completely. I suggest you hire a professional carpet cleaner.
put a paper bag over it and iron it. it’ll lift the wax right out.
